Man, 21, stabbed to death at iconic London beauty spot as second person injured & murder probe launched

A 21-year-old man has been fatally stabbed at an iconic London beauty spot with a second person injured, as cops launch a murder probe.

Met Police were called at 6.41pm today following reports of a fight at the view point in Primrose Hill, in the north of the capital.

Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service, who treated a 21-year-old man at the scene for stab wounds.

Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Another man, believed to be in his 20s, was found by police nearby on Regent’s Park Road, also with stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital by paramedics and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

No arrests have been made at this early stage.

A crime scene remains in place.

Superintendent Matt Cox said: “This is an utterly tragic incident and our thoughts remain with the man’s family and loved ones.

“I would like to reassure the local community that the investigation is unfolding at pace and an increased police presence will remain in the area while we carry out enquiries.

“I would appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time and has any information that could help my officers to come forward.”
