KATE Garraway has switched her rings from late husband Derek Draper from her wedding finger to her other hand.
It comes after the popular Good Morning Britain host, 58, was reported to be growing close to broadcast journalist Liam Halligan, 56, last week.
Kate chose to move the wedding and engagement rings from her left hand over to her right hand in Derek’s memory after filming Celebrity Traitors last year – an experience she described as “transformative.”
The rings were given to her by political spin doctor turned psychotherapist Derek, who died from complications related to Covid in January 2024.
A spokesman for Kate told The Sun on Sunday: “Kate had to remove her rings during a challenge she undertook for Celebrity Traitors and since then wears them on her right hand every day in memory of Derek.”
Last week Liam told The Sun: “I’ve known Kate for years and we’ve recently become close.

“We laugh a lot and really enjoy each other’s company. It’s very early days.
“This may or may not turn into something long-term but there is a definite spark between us and we’re both excited to see what happens.”
Kate recently revealed she was ready to have romance in her life again.
She said: “I wouldn’t like to think that I’d never had romantic love in my life again.
“I think that would be rather a sad way to go through life, wouldn’t it? But, no, I’m not there yet.
“I don’t know if anybody would want me.”
