Grand National 2026 – all the info

The Grand National returns this Saturday!

Aintree is primed and ready for the world’s biggest race, with tens of thousands of punters set to be in attendance.

Willie Mullins pulled off an unprecedented 1-2-3 in the National last year and he returns with a mammoth EIGHT runners in the 2026 showpiece.

The legendary trainer’s biggest fancy is the bookies’ favourite I Am Maximus, who won the race in 2024.

Jockey Paul Townend will be looking to emulate his victory two years ago as I Am Maximus bids to become the first horse since Red Rum in the 1970s to win the title, lose it and then regain it.
