Shock double Apprentice firing after disastrous TV selling task

LORD Alan Sugar furious fired TWO hopefuls on tonight’s The Apprentice after a truly disastrous television selling task.

The two teams were tasked with choosing and flogging a variety of items on a home shopping channel – and both bottled it.

Dan, Rothna, Kieran, Levi and Conor placed their hopes on a yoga mat, an exercise machine, a shoe dryer and a bracelet.

Meanwhile Karishma, Lawrence, Pascha and Priyesh believed they could make a profit on some air purifying headphones, a water flosser and a ring.

Lord Sugar and his Grandson Joe watched on as the candidates sold their products live on air, and they were not impressed.

It was a narrow win for Team Alpha.

The Apprentice’s Lord Sugar fires eleventh candidate after major mishap

In the boardroom, there was a fiery showdown when the losing team’s project manager Conor brought back Kieran and Dan.

The three clashed and Kieran managed to stay another week by making a deal with Lord Sugar which will see him take on the role of PM next week and if he loses, he’ll walk.

Dan also survived and Conor became the second one fired.

Levi Hauge hit out at the decision to fire him, saying: “I don’t think so, but I respect Sugar’s decision.

“My strengths are more around building a business, spotting opportunities and growing something long term and that doesn’t always come across in task-based environments, like TV selling.

“Good ol’ Lord Sugar says he bought a shoe dryer for his wife but then proceeds to fire me for being the worse seller.

“Now, If Lord Sugar bought his wife something that I was selling, surely, I didn’t deserve to be fired.

“In hindsight, I wish I performed a bit better and not got as giddy about being on the show.”

He also said Kieran should have been fired instead of him.

Meanwhile Conor accused Kieran of using “dramatics” to stay in the competition.

He said: “I definitely think it was down to me and Kieran, and obviously Kieran gave the very exciting ultimatum, which was offered to me and I declined.

“It was down to the wire between me and Kieran as to who should stay and I think ultimately the dramatics kept Kieran in.”
