RV lifestyle blogger and husband found dead in campground gun horror just days after posing for smiling pictures as family share pain over tragedy: ‘This makes no sense’

A woman who happily blogged about the life she shared with her husband while living in an RV on a Florida campground was tragically found dead alongside him.

Anissa Osborne, 56, can be seen smiling and holding a bouquet of roses next to her husband Christopher Osborne, 51, in images posted to a Facebook page Anissa used to document their life living in an RV.

But early Sunday, neighbors at the Ocean Pond Campground in Olustee called police after they were unable to get in contact with the couple, News 4 Jax reported.

When authorities arrived on the scene, they found both Christopher and Anissa dead inside the RV. They had both suffered fatal gunshot wounds.

Investigators believe the couple died in a murder-suicide, in which Christopher shot and killed his wife before taking his own life, First Coast News reports.

But the couple’s family members are struggling to accept the possibility, with Christopher’s aunt telling First Coast News it ‘makes no sense.’

In all of the photos posted to Facebook and Instagram, where Anissa documented their life living in an RV under the username @osborne_rv_life_, the couple seemed to be happy, sharing hugs and holding hands.

‘My wife, my angel. I can’t live without you,’ Christopher commented on photo posted in November.

‘He was always posting things about the love of his life and how much he loved his wife,’ said Christopher’s aunt, Sharon Alvarez.

‘To know that he killed her… this makes no sense.’

The couple had married 15 years ago, after which Anissa gave up the job she had as a nurse and moved into the RV on the campground with Christopher.

Her family members said they ‘were so thrilled’ when they first met Christopher, whom Anissa’s cousin, Laura Lorenzo Curry, described as ‘such a sweet soul.’

‘But sometimes sweet souls can have a lot of things we don’t even know about.’

The Osbornes went on to become hosts at Ocean Pond Campground in early December, managing the campground’s operations and assisting visitors.

Curry said Anissa embraced the lifestyle.

‘She would say, “I love my tiny life.” She appreciated the small things,’ she recounted, describing her cousin as ‘very, very happy’ and ‘just kind of a free spirit.’

‘She was a really vibrant, bubbly personality, absolutely hilarious,’ Curry said.

Another camp host also said Anissa was excited about working as a host, describing the Osbornes as a happy couple.

She told First Coast News she last saw Anissa on Thursday, when she stopped by their site to drop off soaps.

But when she had not seen either Anissa nor Christopher by Saturday, she contacted the authorities.

The Baker County Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Medical Examiner’s Office are now continuing to investigate the shooting.

In the meantime, the couple’s family members said they are struggling to make sense of the tragedy.

‘They were a very beloved couple by their family,’ Curry said, describing Anissa and Christopher as ‘really, really lovely people.’

‘And it’s really, really tragic.’

Another of Anissa’s cousins, Deborah Helm Sells, also shared her grief on social media.

‘RIP Christopher Osborne, I am so angry at you right now, I want to beat you hard with the walking stick you made me!!’ she wrote on Facebook following the devastating news.

‘But I know she would tell me to forgive you, and I know she loved Jesus and called him by his name, so I know she is with him now.’
