New Celebrity Traitors signing revealed: ‘Brainbox Dr Hannah Fry set to join Richard E Grant, Hugh Bonneville and David Mitchell in rumoured line-up’

‘Brainbox’ Dr Hannah Fry has reportedly signed up to take part in the upcoming series of the popular BBC show The Celebrity Traitors.

The spin-off version of The Traitors follows the same format as the civilian series and follows group of famous faces trying to figure out who is a Faithful and who is a Traitor to win up to £100,000 for their chosen charity.

The programme, which is hosted by Claudia Winkleman, premiered on BBC One on October 8 2025 and wrapped up a month later.

Then in November last year, the Beeb confirmed the show’s future, revealing a second series would be in the pipeline.

Fans are desperate to know who will be taking part – and now The Sun have revealed that Hannah, 42, who is the Professor of Public Understanding of Mathematics at University of Cambridge, is one of the celebrities set to grace our screens.

A source told the publication: ‘Dr Fry very much ticks the ‘academic’ box filled last year on the show by Dr David Olusoga, who of course made it to the final.
