MULTIPLE people have been shot after gunfire broke out during a wild brawl early on Sunday morning.
Shots rang out around 1:46am during a massive street fight near the University of Iowa campus, police have said.
When officers arrived on the scene in the 100 Block of East College Street, gunfire was still sounding.
“Multiple victims have been taken to area hospitals to be treated for wounds suffered in the shooting,” the Iowa City Public Safety department said.
“No information on their conditions is available at this time. No arrests have been made.”
