While a bit of bling on the wrist is a great way to add an element of luxury to any ensemble, most of Middle England don’t want to splurge £40,000 on a Rolex.
Now experts have revealed the most sophisticated watches which won’t cost an arm and a leg – and they’re all under £2,000.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Danny Toffel, watch expert and founder and CEO of Watches2U has shared the classiest models on the market, ranging from £17 to £1,800.
And stylist Lisa Talbot stressed that sometimes, a smaller price tag is what amps up the elegance in the first place.
‘A great watch doesn’t need to be expensive to look elegant,’ she shared. ‘In fact, some of the most stylish pieces are built on simplicity, proportion and timeless design, rather than logos or price tags.
‘When I’m styling clients, I always say: your watch should quietly elevate your outfit, not dominate it. Think clean dials, refined straps, and pieces that work just as well with tailoring as they do with denim.
‘If you want your watch to instantly elevate your look, wear it like you would a piece of jewellery, intentionally, not as an afterthought.
‘A well-chosen watch doesn’t just tell the time, it quietly communicates confidence, attention to detail, and personal style.’
