I’M A Celeb’s Gemma Collins has taken a very savage swipe at David Haye as the boxer is accused of bullying Adam Thomas.
Adam and David clashed last week on the show when the Waterloo Road star broke camp rules, and then they clashed once more Adam said he didn’t feel well and didn’t want to participate a trial.
Former Towie star Gemma has now hit out at the former heavyweight boxer
Speaking on the I’m A Celebrity: Unpacked spin-off show, hosted by Sam Thompson and with Carol Vorderman as a guest, Gemma ripped into David.
“But David used to lose a lot,” she said to Carol and Sam as they discussed the boxer.
“That concerns me. I’ve got to say, there was a moment in there when I thought ‘How is he a heavyweight champion? Bless you David, and you keep losing, hun.’
“Do you know what I mean?” Gemma said.
“I think maybe that got to him,” she went on.
“But again, that just shows you we’re all human.”
Elsewhere on the show, Gemma spoke about David and Adam’s spat.
She said: “I’m not afraid to step up,” before delving into her take on the feud between the lads that fans branded as “bullying”.
Adam wasn’t feeling well but instead of showing empathy, David said he was acting “useless” and he doesn’t like men like that.
It was said within intended ear shot of Adam as well as other members of camp.
Gemma then continued to say: “I think David Haye might have seen a weakness in Adam.
“There was times where I had to protect Adam in there.
“If I was going full GC mode on David Haye, and a lot of them, then it would’ve been a disaster in there but I had to remain calm and composed and just remember that I’m not here to be performative. I am here as me.
“And I think the fact that I stretched my arms out, I’m sort of saying to ’em all, without biting their heads off, “enough””.
Speaking on how it felt to be surrounded by that kind of energy, Gemma said: “Well, basically, I knew if it was ever gonna get too bad I would be taking David on.
“You know, bring on the next heavyweight champion fighting the world.
“Because if I feel that something’s too much, I’m not afraid to step up.”
David’s recent comments towards Adam stemmed from the fact Adam said he didn’t feel well and didn’t want to participate in the upcoming trial.
But “Who gives a s***,” was David’s rattled response.
It was then that Beverley Callard confronted David, asking for him to have a bit of ‘sympathy and empathy’ for his campmate.
“He’s a grown ass man,” David replied. “I don’t like guys when they’re a bit useless. There it is.”
Users vented about the moment online, with one saying: “David Haye, what a bully. Times like this he should be chucked out for being a d***head.”
“How has David not been removed for bullying yet?” inquired a second.
“David really needs to go – that was not banter, that was bullying. I’m sorry but it was. Don’t like it,” admitted a third.
David has ruffled many feathers in this series of the show.
Not only has he now been accused of bullying, but he has also been accused of “sexism” by viewers after a controversial rant in front of his All Stars campmates.
He was previously slammed by viewers for making digs about Gemma’s weight and sending 69-year-old Bev to basic camp.
