TECH a look at these great deals as manufacturers release new TVs – and drop the price of older models.
As we prepare for a summer of World Cup action on the box, here is how to get all set . . .
PRICE DROP: Spring is the sweet spot for offers on new TVs and there are some great sales already.
Currys has 15 per cent off selected Samsung TVs, with models featuring the Roku operating system from £119.99.
Try Tesco Marketplace, where we spotted up to £320 off selected sets.
New retailer Joybuy.co.uk also has a huge range of discounted TVs, with up to 35 per cent off the RRP.
EXPERT ADVICE: According to a 2025 report from consumer group Which?, the LG 43-inch 43NAN081A6A TV is a fab buy, with balanced sound and great picture quality.
It’s usually £329, but is reduced to £249 at currys.co.uk.
That’s an £80 saving on a top recommended telly.
TRADE UP: Bag a discount on a new TV by trading in your current model.
Samsung will give you up to £250 off a new set when you trade in your old one and it can be from any brand, in any condition.
Simply select your new TV at samsung.com, follow the checkout steps and the discount will be applied.
SPECIAL HELP: Join the VIP members’ club at tech specialists richersounds.com and get £10 off your first £100 spend online, in-store or by phone.
Other perks include ten per cent off clearance items, VIP-only discounts, a six-year guarantee on selected products and minimum £10 off any pre-order.
STREAM SAVER: Sky’s new Ultimate TV package features 130+ channels, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu, all from £24 a month.
Bought separately, the extra streaming apps would cost around £20 before you even add Sky Atlantic, Sky One and other channels.
See sky.com/tv.
Virgin Media is also offering a £30 gift card to new customers who sign up to its M500 Sport HD + Netflix bundle.
Better still, if England’s Three Lions reach the World Cup semi-finals in July, you’ll get an extra £10.
