DUA Lipa will perform at the Brit Awards tonight – and will drop down from the roof riding an enormous disco ball.
Insiders confirmed Dua would be appearing on stage alongside Mark Ronson as he performs a medley of his hits on stage at Manchester’s Co-op Arena.
The Sun exclusively revealed Dance The Night singer Dua had been approached to perform with Mark – who will be honoured at the ceremony with the Outstanding Contribution to Music gong – earlier this month.
Now, a source has said: “Dua arrived in Manchester on Friday and spent last night rehearsing with Mark.
“He will DJ and play a medley of his hits.
“Dua is going to be hidden in the roof and will be riding on a huge disco ball which will be lowered as her song starts.
“It is an absolutely amazing moment – in rehearsals everyone in the room just looked totally gobsmacked. It is a real moment.”
Dua and Mark won a Grammy for their 2017 hit Electricity and worked together again on Dance The Night from the 2023 film Barbie.
Harry Styles will open this evening’s ceremony at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena with his new song Aperture.
Olivia Dean is also performing, alongside Raye in front of a star-studded audience with guests including Noel Gallagher and Sam Fender.
The Sun can confirm Robbie Williams’s tribute to Ozzy Osbourne will close the show.
The late Black Sabbath rocker’s wife Sharon was spotted eating at celebrity hotspot Soho House in Manchester last night after returning from rehearsals.
A source said: “Sharon has worked on this incredible arrangement of Ozzy’s song No More Tears.
“Kelly is joining her tonight and yesterday before dinner, Sharon was at the Co-op Live Arena watching the rehearsals and giving her input.
“This is a huge moment for Ozzy and she wants it to be perfect.”
Robbie will be joined on stage by musicians who previously performed with Ozzy, including Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, Tommy Clufetos and Zakk Wylde.
