SETH ROLLINS had a victory over Gunther in the bag until Bron Breakker arrived on the scene.
Rollins and Gunther put on the match of the evening at WrestleMania 42 Night One and after hitting a Pedigree and a Curb Stomp on the announce tables, the former was closing in on a big win.
But as destiny awaited, Breakker arrived in explosive fashion to Spear Rollins out of his boots and turn the tide.
Gunther then climbed back into the ring and locked in his patented sleeper to leave Rollins out cold and continue his utter dominance over the WWE roster.
But Breakker wasn’t done. As Rollins regrouped outside of the ring, Breakker ran the entire ramp to hit one more spear.
Of course, Gunther retired three tippy-top legends in the last 12 months. All of Goldberg, John Cena and AJ Styles met their wrestling demise at the hands of the Ring General.
Breakker has been on the shelf since the end of January after suffering a major hernia that required surgery.
Rollins was meant to face Breakker at WrestleMania, but injuries to the pair dogged the build-up and finally killed the match after the latter struggled to recover in time.
Rollins had to come back from his own shoulder injury suffered in October last year and WWE decided to move in a different direction as WrestleMania season got in full swing.
Prior to that idea, Rollins was meant to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania before his injury caused them to pivot towards CM Punk, who, ironically, was also meant to face Breakker at first.

Rollins formed The Vision with Breakker the night after WrestleMania 41 one year ago, bringing the young star under his and Paul Heyman’s wing.
They run rampant over the WWE roster until Rollins’ injury caused Breakker to boot him out of the group that went on to add Bronson Reed, Logan Paul and Austin Theory.
The pair are certain to spend a good portion of this year locked in a rivalry, possibly leading to a match at SummerSlam.
But while Rollins is a six-time world champion, Breakker is yet to win the biggest prize in WWE. That is almost certain to change in the next 12 months.
