ASDA is rolling out a new service that will make its services for customers “rapid”.
It has partnered with a software company to enhance its digital commerce across hundreds of its stores.

The supermarket’s partnership with Deliverect will support its operations at Asda Express locations as well as the retailer’s other sites.
James Laws, senior director channel operations, wholesale and convenience, said: “Quick commerce is a key area of growth for Asda, and we’ve already seen demand for this service where it has been introduced at our Express sites.
“By partnering with Deliverect we’ve been able to simplify processes for our colleagues, allowing them to provide the service that our customers expect when ordering rapid delivery.”
The system is already live in hundreds of Asda Express stores with further rollouts planned across additional locations throughout the year.
The expansion comes as consumer demand for fast, convenient access continues to grow, with shoppers increasingly expecting to order groceries instantly across multiple platforms.
Asda and Deliverect’s partnership has created a system connecting major on-demand platforms such as Uber Eats, Just Eat and Deliveroo into the store’s operations.
This allows product availability, pricing and ranges to align more closely with internal systems.
It will also simplify in-store operations and give central teams greater visibility and control across the business.
The move reflects Asda’s continued investment in building a more modern and flexible digital infrastructure.
The retailer aims to stay competitive as the industry shifts toward multi-channel delivery services.
