ANTHONY JOSHUA is making moves outside the ring after landing a knockout deal as the new face of Wilkinson Sword’s Quattro razor.
The heavyweight champion boxer has signed up to front the brand’s latest campaign.
But while AJ might be looking sharp, his focus is firmly on staying sharp too.
Opening up to Bizarre, he revealed the intense mindset behind his training as he looks ahead to his hotly anticipated bout with Tyson Fury.
AJ said: “Confidence is key to having a champion’s mindset, but it has to be built on something.
“For me, confidence comes partly from doing the work and sticking to your routine and your goals. If you’re disciplined and can trust yourself to do the right thing, you build the type of confidence that’s needed to truly have a champion’s mindset.”

And his preparation is seriously meticulous.
AJ added: “Throughout my training, I have sticky notes plastered up on my bathroom wall and my bedroom wall.
“The day of the fight, I go and just read them all. The ones that resonate with me at the time, I’ll put a dot next to it.
“By the tenth week I’ve built up hundreds of sticky notes and I just go around and I read them all.”
Those mantras are clearly working – and AJ admits looking good plays a part too.
He said: “When you look good, you feel good, so it’s important I have time in the mornings to dedicate to self-care.”
Talking about the Quattro, AJ added: “Smooth! I like the standing handle and the protective blades.”
And it’s not just a random deal either, with AJ explaining: “Wilkinson Sword is legendary. I like to think I’ve dedicated the same discipline towards my own craft. Master recognises master.”
All of it comes as the long-awaited “Battle of Britain” edges closer, with Netflix confirming he will be fighting Gypsy King Tyson before the year is out.
In a statement Netflix said this week: “It’s happening.
“Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua. This autumn, from the UK.”
AJ, though, is keeping it cool.
He said: “I’m not here to chase clout. Contracts will be sent over and I’ll more than likely be in the ring with him next.
‘’He’s the one that retired. I’ve been in the game for 13 years, I’ve never retired. I make the big fights, that’s what I said to him. He works for me.”
