The trio often tease each other and share jokes in the studio with host Kate Abdo.

And Henry couldn’t resist a dig at the ex-Man City star when explaining how their recent workout went.

Richards brought up the topic as he shared the news of their session with the studio.

He said: “Did you tell them about our gym session today?”

Abdo then asked him how they fared and what they area they trained.

Richards replied: “For the first 20 minutes I was OK, the last 20 minutes not so much. [We worked on] Core.”

Abdo quizzed Henry on the session and how he thought Richards performed.

The Frenchman said: “All I can say is at one point he had a disagreement with his legs. They were having a fight.”

The studio then broke into fits of laughter before Abdo asked Henry if he had a video of the gym session.

Henry replied: “That’s up to him, I didn’t want to…”

Carragher was left in stitches after hearing the story before he joked: “I was not invited. There’s cliques in the group!”

Henry is known for being a big gym enthusiast and regularly shares videos of his fitness regime on Instagram.

And occasionally he has shown off his ripped abs and physique after still maintaining a top condition long after his retirement in 2014.

This week he gave fans a peek into his fitness regime after posting a brutal workout video on Instagram, including burpees and push-ups.

Henry is recognised as one of the greatest Premier League players of all time after his 226 goals in the top flight led the Gunners to two titles.

That included a famous invincible season in 2003-04.

Richards, meanwhile, won one league title with boyhood club Man City in 2011-12 and played a total of 245 games.
