MANY of us will have unfortunately experienced it before – when you order something online and it arrives and looks nothing like the photos.
Well, that’s what happened for disappointed Emma Mather, when she bought what she thought would be a cute mini dress from PrettyLittleThing (PLT).
But Emma was left mind-blown when she tried on her butter yellow halter neck puff ball mini dress, which she described as a “sack.”
Not only this, but rather than looking ready for a night out in a glam dress, the content creator thought her frock made her look “like a bag of spuds with arms.”
Posting on social media, Emma showed off her “fashion fail” – and it’s left many in hysterics.
Not only did some compare it to a “latex glove”, but others thought it looked more like “a piece of shower curtain.”

The young woman said: “Can someone please tell me why I keep ordering from PLT?
“This is what I just got.”
Moments later, viewers saw Emma model her dress, which was originally priced at £34 and was then reduced to £23.80.
It is now sold-out, but wasn’t a hit with Emma, as she continued: “It’s a nice little sack…I look like a bag of spuds with arms.”
Clearly unimpressed, she added: “It’s horrendous, it’s so bad.”
Not only was the oversized dress not to Emma’s taste, but she also recognised that her purchase arrived overly wrinkled and “could do with an iron.”
Emma’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @emma.mather, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 214,700 views.
Social media users couldn’t believe Emma’s fail and many raced to the comments to express their thoughts on the puff ball dress.
One person said: “Omg this was literally in my basket. Thank you for deinfluencing.”
Another added: “It’s giving inside out latex glove.”
A third joked: “That’s where my other pillowcase went.”
Meanwhile, someone else chimed in and questioned: “Is it a bag for piping icing?”
At the same time, one user was left in hysterics by the dress and laughed: “Looks like a piece of shower curtain LOOL.”
