AngryGinge’s mum breaks down in tears after watching him sob on I’m A Celebrity – admitting ‘my heart sank, it’s so hard to see’

AngryGinge’s mum Michelle revealed she broke down in tears after watching him sob on I’m A Celebrity.

In scenes aired on Monday night, YouTuber Ginge, 24, was shown struggling with homesickness and missing his family.

He shared in the Bush Telegraph: ‘It’s a bit of a s**t day really, I just feel as though I’m missing home, missing speaking to my family, food and drink as well is a massive part but they say you have up days and down days…’

Pausing, Ginge then added as he choked up: ‘I’m holding it in. I suppose it’s just one of my down days…’

Ahead of arriving in Australia alongside the other celebs’ loved ones, the star’s mum Michelle described her reaction to the emotional scenes.

She told The Sun: ‘I haven’t managed to watch the full episode yet as I’ve been travelling, but I saw a clip on TikTok.

‘My heart absolutely sank, I started crying.

‘It was so hard to see, because I know Morgan is such a strong person, so he must have been struggling a lot.

‘I just can’t wait to give him the biggest hug on that bridge.’

Elsewhere, Ginge was praised by viewers for his “10/10 reaction” to Jack Osbourne breaking down in tears.

Jack, 40, opened up to his fellow campmates about how the previous day had been “delicate” for him.

He shared with the group: ‘I was doing okay and then realised it was four months since my dad died.

‘Had a good cry with Eddie [Kadi]…’, then adding how happy he was to be in the camp.

Afterwards, Jack joked to Ginge, who was sitting next to him: ‘Promise I’ll never cry in front of you again, Ginge.’

To which the content creator – real name Morgan Burtwistle – replied: ‘It’s alright mate, men cry too.’

Speaking later in the Bush Telegraph, Ginge added: ‘Jack got a bit emotional because it was four months since his father passed.

‘I wanted him to speak about it because it’s good for him, his wellbeing. It’s good for the camp, it jut shows how comfortable we all are.’

Meanwhile, Tuesday’s (November 25) instalment saw Ginge confide in Ruby Wax about the brutal way his ex broke up with him.

The star – whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle – revealed the huge gesture he made when he made the relationship official.

Ginge recalled how he had ‘rose petals, from the front door all the way up the stairs and then it opened to my room, there’s a teddy bear, there’s a rose and then I officially asked her to be my girlfriend.’

Unfortunately, the relationship came to a brutal end as Ginge shared his ex broke up with him by text while he was livestreaming.

He added: ‘I had to carry on for six more hours.’

The pair also discussed Ginge’s mindset, after his “down day” and campmates telling him they weren’t impressed by fooling them into believing he performed poorly at the Bushtucker Trial.

Confirming he was in a better mood, Ginge said: ‘Much better, yesterday I was just terrible…’

‘I’ve gone ten days without seeing my mum for example but I’ve always been able to ring her and text her, so not being able to communicate at all, it all gets on top of you.’

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight on ITV1 and ITVX.
