Zack Polanski today suggested he is being ‘ridiculed’ because of his anti-war stance – amid a fresh row over his claim he could enlarge women’s breasts via hypnosis.
The Green Party leader hit out after it was revealed how he doubled-down on his belief he could boost cup sizes using the mind alone.
The ‘eco-populist’ previously said he was ‘misrepresented’ in a 2013 newspaper article, which detailed his work as a hypnotherapist.
He has also repeatedly said he apologised ‘a day later’ for the article. But a newly unearthed radio interview has now shown how Mr Polanski stood by his claims.
Six days after the article was published, he spoke to a local radio station about a ‘successful project’ that was said to have grown a woman’s breasts by ‘four inches’.
‘Increasingly more and more as I work people there’s starting to become anecdotal evidence, at least, of a growth in breast size,’ Mr Polanski said at the time.
In an apparent swipe at widespread coverage of the unearthed radio interview, first reported by the BBC, Mr Polanski on Thursday fumed at the ‘war mongering media’.
‘They try to ridicule us. They try to silence us. But we keep growing the movement. We oppose war. And we win,’ he posted on X.

Mr Polanski also shared a claim that ‘the reason the media are going after Zack Polanski’ is because of ‘his opposition to Israel’s genocide and Iran war’.
After the US and Israeli launched strikes on Iran, Mr Polanski has demanded Britain sever its military ties with America.
He has also advocated leaving NATO and suggested, if he became prime minister, he would seek to build a relationship with Russia’s Vladimir Putin.
The Greens have seen a surge in support since Mr Polanski was elected their party leader in September.
They also secured an historic victory over Labour in last month’s Gorton and Denton by-election.
But the rise in the party’s popularity has brought extra scrutiny of Mr Polanski and other senior Green figures.
A Labour source said: ‘Zack Polanski’s ego might have got bigger, but nothing else has.
‘It’s now clear that his pretence to have been misrepresented over his breast enlargement hypnosis scam was absolute nonsense – he got called out years later, and he lied about it.
‘You can’t trust a word he says – he’ll say whatever he thinks you want to hear.’
The newspaper article detailing Mr Polanski’s belief he could enlarge women’s breasts through hypnosis was published on 12 June, 2013.
It has now been revealed how, on 18 June that year, Mr Polanski spoke of a ‘successful project’ with the journalist who wrote the article.
‘Actually there was an article in The Sun last week where a client came to see me who was a journalist and we had a successful project,’ he told BBC Radio Humberside.
‘We’ve done it a couple of times and there seems to be no shift.
‘But, actually, increasingly more and more as I work people there’s starting to become anecdotal evidence, at least, of a growth in breast size.’
Mr Polanski went on to suggest the journalist’s breasts had grown significantly within the space of a week, adding: ‘She says that she grew four inches.
‘It didn’t change her cup size, she stayed the same cup size but she said it was a tighter fit.’
Asked if the woman’s breasts had actually grown, Mr Polanski told the radio host: ‘Yes, according to a journalist.’
Pressed on whether he personally believed women’s breasts can be enlarged through hypnosis, he added: ‘I believe that it can happen in theory.
‘And I think it’s definitely worth investing the time, evidence and research into hypnosis generally.’
In the 2013 radio interview, Mr Polanski said he was not charging clients for breast enhancement ‘at the moment’.
He also expressed his hope that hypnotherapy would help people more generally with body confidence issues.
‘When you think about cosmetic surgery, kind of the dangerous effects et cetera – both mentally as well, at least with hypnotherapy we’re also combining it with a package of looking at people’s confidence and their self-esteem,’ he said.
‘My hope would be that, actually, just with one session people wouldn’t even want to enhance their breasts – they’d actually be looking to become more comfortable from the inside out.’
The radio interview appears to contradict Mr Polanski’s more recent comments on the 2013 newspaper article, which advertised a 90-minute session with him as costing £220 and was titled: ‘Can you really THINK your boobs bigger?’
In September last year, shortly after his election as Green leader, Mr Polanski was asked on ITV’s Good Morning Britain if he believed at the time that hypnosis could enlarge a woman’s breasts.
‘I was misrepresented, I apologised a day later,’ he said. ‘Does anyone believe that? Actually lots of men got in touch with me asking if it could help with other body parts.
‘I’ve never done it for men, I’ve never done it for women, that’s not something I believe in.’
Later the same month, he told the Pod Save the UK podcast of the 2013 article: ‘I went out on BBC radio the next day, so not 12 years later when I became a politician, but literally the next day to go ‘this article doesn’t represent me’.’
A Green Party source said: ‘Zack has repeatedly apologised for an interview he did with The Sun more than a decade ago.
‘Now, Zack is focused on the issues that really matter to people: bringing down bills, protecting the NHS and rebuilding our public services.’
