ZACH Bryan stopped drinking alcohol nearly two months ago, he claimed in a vulnerable new Instagram post.
The country singer, 29, admitted he recently realized he “really needed some f***ing help” after taking a cross-country motorcycle ride.
He began by explaining his transition from military service to the spotlight had “subconscious effects” on him.
“I was not content but I also feared showing weakness because that’s not who I am or how I was raised,” he wrote.
“I was stuck in a perpetual discontent that led me to always reaching for alcohol, not for the taste, but because there was a consistent black hole in me that always needed its void filled.”
Zach said he was touring constantly while also dealing with personal problems including being “doxxed on the internet.”
“I was having earth-shattering panic attacks. The anxiety I felt was paralyzing and I thought since I was successful, had the money I always longed for, and had great friends, that I could tough anything out,” he continued.
“All that said I went out of my way to find a therapist and made the conscious decision to do something about my toxic relationship with booze and how I cope with major life changes.”
Zach ended by claiming he “hasn’t touched alcohol” in nearly two months.
As a result, he said, he feels “great.”

“There is nothing I need to get my by anymore,” he said. “If you or any of your friends are too young, too scared or too subborn to reach out, know that the most stubborn dumba** on the planet did and didn’t regret it.”
FEELING THE LOVE
Zach’s friends and fans flooded the comments with support.
“I love you my sweet boy,” his new girlfriend Samantha Leighton said.
“We love you man. You have gotten a lot of us through tough times and we could never be more grateful,” a follower chimed in.
The star has gone through some bumps in the road over the past year.
In 2024, he split from podcaster Brianna Chickenfry, who accused him of emotional abuse.
In September of this year, Zach got into a fight with rival Gavin Adcock at the Born & Raised music festival in Oklahoma.
“Come fight like a man. Open the gate!” Zach could be heard screaming in a video posted by Gavin.
Gavin later ripped Zach as a “little boy.”
Zach also got backlash for abruptly backing out of a Boston concert in July 2024, which Brianna later claimed was due to him drinking too much.
