YUNGBLUD is in tip top condition after hitting the gym to get fit ahead of summer shows.
His new muscles have given him some fighting spirit, with the punk rocker revealing he wants to bring back celebrity sparring matches after training with former IBO welterweight champ Chris Van Heerden.
“The boxing is vibing,” Yungblud told me at the launch of his new album Idols, at Chateau Denmark in London.
“Chris thinks I can get into professional boxing and I was like, ‘f***ing hell’.
“We should bring back celebrity boxing. I have got a year’s preparation on it.
“Who do I want to fight? Boris Johnson.
“When Robbie Williams wanted to fight Liam Gallagher that was a good thing from the Nineties. It was legendary.”
Of his new muscles, the Hello Heaven, Hello singer added: “I like the new physique. I will take Iggy Pop any day or David Bowie during the Thin White Duke era.
“They were big inspirations to my body and I am just trying to be like them. I am ready to work and kick ass.
“I stopped drinking beer and I only drink once or twice a week.
“At the start of the album I was drinking a little bit too much. But I am in the gym at 10am.”
I need to take a leaf out of his book.
DEMI LOVATO is still Cool For The Summer.
She shared this holiday snap and hit back at online trolls who started criticising her body.
Demi said: “The main thing that I’m working on is body acceptance, just looking in the mirror and being like, ‘This body is strong’.”
Shak boots on US leg
SHAKIRA has touched down in the US ready for the American leg of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour.
And she wasted no time in flogging the final tickets to her fans after making an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show in a black mini-dress and boots.
On her world tour, which is likely to come to our shores next year, Shakira said: “I’ve been working on this for a year, preparing every single detail.
“I’ve put together my biggest set list. I’m singing some of my most classic songs like Hips Don’t Lie, to the most recent ones.
“It’s a pretty huge production. It weighs, like, 93 tons. There are 145 people travelling with me.”
Whoever did the logistics needs a medal.
Cruz paint hearted
CRUZ BECKHAM shrugged off a family feud playing out between his dad David and brother Brooklyn to head on a date night with girlfriend Jackie Apostel.
The pair were spotted at a private viewing of the Bob Dylan: Point Blank exhibition at the Halcyon Gallery in London.
Cruz is waiting to kick off his career as a musician later this year, after teaming up with the brilliant Luke Pritchard from The Kooks.
Eyeing up Robbie 3D portrait
ROBBIE WILLIAMS is already part of music royalty.
But Rob is going to get some regal treatment by the artist who created the famous hologram of the late Queen in 2004.
“I’m going to do Robbie’s portrait like the Queen 3D – and he’s agreed to do it,” Chris Levine told me.
“The difference is, the Queen’s eyes were shut, but I will keep Robbie’s amazing green eyes open.”
On his friendship with Rob, Chris, who is known for his innovative work with light and lasers, said: “We have mutual interests, like UFOs.
“Robbie will look like royalty. It’s gonna be mega.”
Sophie art is a selfie
SOPHIE ELLIS-BEXTOR had a DIY approach to the cover art for her comeback album.
She has announced that her first record since the resurgence of Murder On The Dancefloor last year will be called Perimenopop, and is out on September 12.
And I’ve learned she shot this snap for the cover herself, in her home.
A music insider told me: “Sophie wanted to do something quirky, so she hired a photo booth to be delivered to her house.
“She spent ages snapping a load of photos and that is how the cover was made.”
Sophie, who released single Taste yesterday, will play Koko in Camden, London, on September 8 to celebrate the album.
COLDPLAY will be taking over a London venue with their immersive experience A Film For The Future.
It is at the Lightroom, King’s Cross, and features 150 visual artists from 45 countries, accompanied by tracks from their No1 album Moon Music.
The show coincides with their ten Wembley gigs, and runs from August 21 until September 8.
