You’re OVERPAYING for your sports TV packages

SPORTS are among the most expensive streaming bills Brits are faced with – but there are hidden ways to slash costs instantly.

Whether you’re into Premier League football, rugby or even the NFL, we’ve found a load of special discounts to save you money.

Sky and Virgin Media customers can get Sky Sports added to their existing contract for £20 a month – but that locks you into a lengthy 24-month contract.

For TNT Sports, you’re looking at about £28 per month but again you’re tied into a long contract and need an existing TV subscription to get that price.

While these two cover most sports, it’s not everything – you still have DAZN, Amazon Prime, Premier Sports and more if you’re a big sports fan.

The cheapest way to save is to see if your existing premium TV provider has any discounts for being a loyal customer.

But failing that, check out these little-known offers…

#1 TNT Sports savings

TNT usually costs £30.99 on a rolling basis from Discovery+Credit: Getty

TNT is a must for football lovers, with 52 live games for the 2025/26 Premier League.

It’s also home to live rugby, tennis and cricket.

If you’re an O2 customer, you can now get a discount on TNT Sports.

The mobile network recently added the sports channels as one of its O2 Extras.

This means you can add TNT Sports to your mobile bill, gaining access for £26.99 – and it’s on a rolling contract too, so you’re not locked in for 24 months.

Paying directly for TNT Sports via Discovery+ would normally cost you £30.99 on a rolling basis.

To sweeten the deal further, O2 is offering a £2 discount off your mobile bill on top as well, so your TNT Sports subscription via O2 Extras will effectively cost you £24.99.

#2 DAZN deals

DAZN shows a number of sports, including Series A football, boxing and NFL.

Look to your mobile provider again for savings – this time, Vodafone.

There are a couple of different offers available depending on what you’re interested in.

For a limited time, NFL fans can bag a weekly Game Pass for only £4.99 – it usually costs £15.99.

If you want access to all of DAZN, there’s a longer-running 40 per cent discount for two months on the platform.

Don’t forget, you can get a free trial of DAZN too.
