Young woman, ‘raped down alleyway’ after stranger ‘got into her taxi’ near seaside pub as teen charged

COPS have charged an 18-year-old man after a young woman was allegedly raped in an alleyway after being followed into a taxi.

Harvey Flory allegedly attacked the victim, aged in her 20s, in Lowestoft, Suffolk, in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Suffolk Police said: “Harvey Flory, of Shaw Avenue in Lowestoft, has subsequently been charged with two counts of rape, and one count of sexual assault by penetration.

“He has been remanded in custody to appear before Norwich Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Tuesday 7 April.

“The victim continues to be assisted by specialist officers.”
