Decked out in full Littler gear, the giddy darts fanatic managed to catch The Nuke’s attention after his 4-0 triumph in the third round.

And he was in complete disbelief as Littler, 18, signed a ‘Nuke’ cap and a poster for him to remember the occasion by.

When the camera panned back to the young kid, he was in floods of happy tears.

He just about managed a thumbs up to thank Littler as his mum screamed: “Oh my god! Look at what you’ve got!”

Luke Littler takes dig at darts rival who ‘makes him lose his head’

Littler fans witnessed one of his best ever Ally Pally showings as he battered Suljovic with a 107.09 average and stunning efficiency on the outer ring.

He told Sky Sports: “I’m very happy. The finishing was good. I don’t think I’ve seen 71 per cent [on the doubles] in my PDC career.

“That’s the best I’ve felt this year or even last year or the tournament before that. That’s the most I’ve been settled.

“It shows in the average, the finishing and the ton-plus checkouts.

“That’s another round out the way and I’ll be back in a few days. There was no pressure, no nerves and I’m happy with the result.”

Littler will face Rob Cross in the fourth round after Voltage’s 4-0 hammering of Damon Heta on Sunday.

That will be a clash between a former world champ in Cross and the reigning champion Littler, with fans sure to be entertained.

Cross is going well this year but it’s world No1 Littler who brings in the superior form, having won all three of his World Darts Championship matches without dropping a set.
