X FACTOR host Matt Richardson has named and shamed a “dreadful” Celebrity Coach Trip co-star.
The comedian, 34, was on the show with Will Best, 40, back in 2022 and was left fuming by one of his fellow cast members.
Much like the popular Channel 4 reality show, the star spin-off show Celebrity Coach Trip sees a group of celebs trekking around in a bus together.
The holiday programme, which airs on sister channel E4, sees teams of two undertake a coach tour who then have to vote off other couples.
Matt took part in the show three years ago along with Big Brother presenter Will.
Among their co-stars were Birds of a Feather’s Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph, who went on to win the show.
Other famous faces included former Love Island couple Paige Turley and Finn Tapp.
The late Hollyoaks star Paul Danan also took part, and he was paired with Olympian Ashley McKenzie.
The rest of the line-up was made-up of Sophie Kasaei and James Tindale, The Honeyz bandmates Celena Cherry and Mariama Goodman, drag queens Sister, Sister and Ginny Lemon, and The Valleys star Lateysha Grace, who was paired with The X Factor star Honey G.
Speaking before going on the show, which saw the celebs bus around Portugal, Matt said: “I can’t wait to spend a holiday on a coach filled with celebs. It’s what I normally do, so filming it just makes sense.”
However, in his latest TikTok, the comic has opened up about his time on Celebrity Coach Trip – and he didn’t hold back.
Speaking to fans, he said: “I did do Coach Trip, Celebrity Coach Trip.
“I don’t know if I loved that experience. I found it really hard work. Not because of the show, it was the other celebs.
“Not all of them, I will say. There were some lovely people on, but there were some people who made it weird because they cared about the vote at the end of the day and would get annoyed if you voted for them even though they’d voted for you because they wanted to stay on the show even though you got paid the same.
“No matter what. One person had said that if they won Coach Trip they were hoping to get the Love Island hosting job.
“They were delusional and mad. I talk about it a lot in my stand-up special that’s coming out soon.”
Not stopping there, a fan asked him to spill the beans on who which co-star he was referring too.
Replying to the fan, he bluntly said: “Honey G and that awful woman from the valleys were dreadful, and the Olympian whose name escapes me.”
Stand up comic Matt is best known for co-hosting The X Factor spin-off the Xtra Factor with the late Caroline Flack back in 2013.
He then went on to host the drivetime show on Virgin Radio and launch a podcast with Busted‘s Matt Willis called When No One’s Watching.
In 2021 he found himself on the reserve skating list for Dancing On Ice and eventually made it onto the show to partner pro skater Vicky Ogden after Rufus Hound pulled out with coronavirus.
At the time, Matt admitted he was contemplating quitting showbiz altogether.
He said: “I was looking at a career change or to just leave the industry altogether, because it’s tough times.
“I am of a level where I’m on TV, but I’m not a big, huge name. It’s not like I’ve got stacks of cash lying around. I am currently skint because I’ve not worked a year.”
Meanwhile, Matt’s personal life is going from strength to strength, and in March he announced that he had asked his girlfriend to marry him.
The comedian popped the question to Sam Rollinson during a luxury break to Scotland.
