A PSYCHIC PIG has predicted who will be crowned this year’s world darts champion.
As darts stars and fans from across the world travel to Alexandra Palace for the festivities of the World Darts Championship, everyone will be keeping one eye on the January 3 final.
As well as the sought-after Sid Waddell trophy lifted by Luke Littler last year, the winner will also take home a whopping £1million in prize money.
And the question rightly on everyone’s lips is who will win the ultimate prize in darts?
Will Littler, now the world No1, manage to retain his title?
Will former world champion Luke Humphries be eyeing some revenge after being eclipsed by Littler as the No1 darts player in the world.
Or will we see another star from the newly-expanded 128-player field see their aim hit true?
Well that question has attempted to be answered by a psychic pig.
Mystic pig, Truffle, successfully predicted the winner of last year’s world darts championship.
And the team at Darts Corner have paid Truffle another visit to her home at Ouseburn Farm to get some fresh predictions for this year’s tournament.

The foolproof method used to decide the winner saw a series of buckets with darts players’ faces laid out in front of Truffle.
And she used her trusty snout to sniff out the winner.
Truffle had a quick dip into the first bucket adorned with Ross Smith’s face, but swiftly moved on.
The bucket with Humphries’ face on was tipped over, followed by Michael van Gerwen.
But the final bucket with Littler’s face on was the one Truffle stayed on, therefore predicting the Nuke will retain his Ally Pally title.
Truffle has also predicted the tournament runner up, any dark horses and stars going deep into the competition.
The World Darts Championship gets underway tomorrow.
Littler will be in action during the evening in Round One against Darius Labanauskas.
