DARTS fans joked a red card should have been issued after James Hurrell tripped over the oche during his defeat to Ryan Searle.
Hurrell suffered a resounding 4-0 defeat to Searle in the fourth round to end his run at Ally Pally.

The result brought him back down to earth at the World Darts Championship after his memorable 4-3 win over fourth seed Stephen Bunting.
And Hurrell nearly took a tumble straight to the floor of the Ally Pally stage after falling over the edge of the oche on Monday night.
The video shows Hurrell throwing his third dart before walking away from the oche and tripping over.
Hurrell then started pointing towards the oche to show darts referee George Noble where he had fallen.
He seemed to be pointing to a nail on the end of the oche as a potential hazard.
The PDC saw the funny side of the incident as they posted on X joking that VAR was checking for a “foul”.
They wrote: “Nasty challenge by the oche on James Hurrell, George Noble has been recommended to check the foul on the VAR monitor.”
Fans decided to join in with the football-related jokes as one added: “VAR decision: Penalty confirmed.”

Another said: “Red card imo.”
A third wrote: “Against Real Madrid they would have shown a red card.”
And a fourth read: “Book him for simulation.”
Unfortunately for Hurrell, it wasn’t his only unfortunate moment as he was whitewashed by Searle.
And despite not dropping a set in the tournament so far, Searle was critical of his own display, which he called “rubbish”.
He said: “I thought that was rubbish so to have a 100 average is massive. I wish James all the best in the future, he’s a nice guy.
“I don’t really know what happened. I just threw a few darts and managed to win. A couple of days off and it’s my partners birthday tomorrow and I haven’t got her a card or anything.
“If I feel like I’m throwing well I don’t know what kind of average I’ll hit. There is a lot more to come from me yet. I’m just grateful.”
