FANS were left stunned after spotting Premier League icon Peter Crouch in the crowd on day eight of the World Darts Championship.
The 44-year-old was at Alexandra Palace for the evening session, with the likes of Michael van Gerwen and Fallon Sherrock in action.
He appeared on screen during the match between Jermaine Wattimena and Dominik Gruellich, sending the crowd wild.
Crouch laughed it off, but the camera continued to flash back to him between each dart.
Fans at Ally Pally loved it and continued to cheer each time he popped up on the big screen.
Viewers watching on TV were also thrilled, with one person taking to social media to write: “Don’t think there’s a single person who doesn’t like Crouchy!”
Another said: “May you be as happy in life as this darts crowd is to see Peter Crouch on the big screen!”
A third added: “Never seen this guy angry, always smiling and laughing.”
While a fourth simply said: “National treasure.”
The commentator even joked: “He (Wattimena) cares not for former Stoke strikers,” while the Dutchman was throwing.

Wattimena went on to beat Dominik Gruellich 3-2 in a five-set thriller.
Van Gerwen and Krzysztof Ratajski also won their matches against Mitsuhiko Tatsunami and Alexis Toylo respectively.
Meanwhile, Dave Chisnall cruised to a 3-0 win over Sherrock.
Nathan Aspinall and Beau Greaves are among the stars due to play on Friday.
