A WOMAN has been admitted to hospital after she was found with serious knife wounds.
A 35-year-old man has now been arrested in connection with the attack in York.
North Yorkshire Police confirmed the woman had been admitted to hospital “with serious injuries, believed to have been caused by a knife”.
The force said: “A serious incident was reported to us at 5.50pm today (Saturday 10 January) at an address on Lindley Road in York.”
Cops urged any witnesses to “call 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111”.
It asked people to quote the reference NYP-10012026-0340 when contacting with further information.
