COPS are urging the victim of a sexual assault to come forward and make a report after a man was arrested in connection with the incident.
The incident occurred in a TK Maxx store on Northgate Street, Gloucester on Tuesday, July 29.
Officers have now urged the victim to come forward after it was alleged that a man grabbed a woman’s buttocks in the shop.
Police are aware of the incident after the woman and her pal told the store manager of the assault.
Cops raced to the store and after speaking with staff members a 33-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident as he tried to leave the scene.
The woman left the store before any details could be taken from her.
Police are now urging her to come forward and make a statement after they have been unable to trace her through CCTV.
The man has been released on bail while police continue to probe the assault.
