Cops are hunting for a man in “all black clothing” after a woman was reportedly raped on a street – as the public are urged not to approach him.
The alleged assault took place on Dame Street in Islington, north London, on March 28.
Cops are now appealing for the help to find the man, who they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.
He is described as black with a slim build and in his late 20s.
Detective Constable Stephanie Knight of the Met Police said: “We have released this image today with the hope that someone will recognise this man.
“If you do, you must let us know who he is.
“The smallest bit of information could prove vital in the investigation.
“If you do see him, please do not approach and call the police on 999.”
The force added that the victim is being supported by specialist officers.
Anyone who recognises the man is urged to contact the Met via 101, quoting 481/28MAR.
