A WOMAN was allegedly raped outside a church in a busy city centre park in a shocking daylight attack.
Emergency services rushed to Castle Park in Bristol at around 10.30am yesterday after concerns were raised for the woman’s welfare.

The victim was taken to hospital after the horrific alleged attack.
She has since been discharged and is now recovering at home.
The woman is being supported by specially trained officers.
Cops later arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of rape.
He remains in police custody while detectives continue to investigate the incident.
Officers believe the incident happened at about 10am in Castle Park, close to St Peter’s Church.
Police have now launched an appeal for witnesses who may have been in the area at the time.
Neighbourhood Chief Inspector Keith Smith said the force’s priority is ensuring the victim receives the support she needs.
He said: “I know how concerning this incident will be and our priority is making sure we provide the victim with all the support she needs.
“While these incidents are very rare, our serious sexual offences team, Operation Bluestone, are carrying out a full investigation into what happened to ensure we can take action.”
Detectives are urging anyone who saw anything suspicious in Castle Park between 9.30am and 10.30am yesterday to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
