
A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in a popular park.
Cops have launched an investigation after the victim, in his 50s, was discovered unresponsive in Lowestoft, Suffolk, last night.


Suffolk Police said: “A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder following an incident in Lowestoft.
“Officers were called to Sparrow’s Nest Gardens in the town at 10.13pm last night, Friday 20 March.
“On arrival officers found a man, aged in his 50s, who was unresponsive.
“Despite the efforts of emergency services, the man was later declared deceased. The incident is being treated as a murder investigation.
“The family of the deceased have been made aware.
“A 28-year-old woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation for questioning, where she currently remains.”
