A WOMAN has tragically died after a horror multi-vehicle crash which left two people injured.
Jade Anthony, 25, suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision on the A303 near Amesbury, Wiltshire.
Jade, from Buckingham, sadly later died in hospital despite the best efforts of medical staff.
The horror collision, which involved five vehicles, happened on the eastbound carriageway just before 2pm on Sunday.
Two other people suffered minor injuries, said Wiltshire Police.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage has been urged to contact police.
The force said to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597, quoting log number 218 of 02/11.
Witnesses can also contact the team with information directly by emailing SCIT@wiltshire.police.uk.
The A303 was closed in both directions near Deptford, in Wiltshire, but reopened on Monday.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “A woman has sadly died following a multi-vehicle road traffic collision on the A303 at Winterbourne Stoke.
“Jade Anthony, 25, from Buckingham, sustained life-threatening injuries in the collision on November 2 and later died in hospital.
“Two other people sustained minor injuries.”
