Will Epic Fury Bring Regime Change to Great Britain? – HotAir

Keir Starmer has been in deep trouble for a while, but his milquetoast response to the Iranian threat may turn out to be his undoing. 

If so, Donald Trump may achieve regime change in not one, but two Islamic countries. One seeking nuclear weapons, the other already armed with them. 





Starmer’s behavior during the run-up to and execution of Operation Epic Fury has been a wonder to behold. He has not just been weak, but actually obstructive, feckless, and has spent more time pandering to the Islamic community in his own country than focusing on the very real security concerns of his own country. 

Starmer not only denied US access to UK military bases, which, arguably, is a violation of treaties we have with the country (lawyers can argue about that point), but the Prime Minister of the UK left his bases in the Mediterranean undefended with a war obviously on the horizon. 





Starmer is still insisting that Britain will not get involved in the war, despite mounting criticism within his country that Britain looks incredibly weak and has become a feckless ally. 

What is Starmer doing instead? He is literally spending his time giving speeches to Islamic extremists reassuring them that Britain has nothing to do with the attack on Iran. 

The optics are awful, first of all, and the signal he is giving to Britons and to the world is clear: his big priority is placating his Muslim constituency at all costs. Including that of British lives. 





Everybody, both inside and outside of the UK, is not just noticing but keeping notes. Starmer is creating a situation where displeasure with his personality and policies will be transformed into something much more dangerous for him: he is in danger of becoming toxic. 

Starmer actually says that Muslims are “the face of modern Britain,” which likely won’t go down well with the man on the street. 

One of the best summaries of how feckless, nearly traitorous Starmer has been came from this rant, which I think captures what a large fraction of the British public thinks, even if they don’t support the war against the Mullahs. 





This was a frighteningly accurate account of what Starmer and other leaders of the UK have caused.

“You didn’t stop those ‘Pro-Palestine marches, you didn’t proscribe the Muslim Brotherhood, you didn’t proscribe the IRGC, you weakened support of Israel .. 

What on earth do you think you’re doing?! You’re domestic terrorists! You’re sabotaging this Nation!”

Opposing the war is, likely, a popular position with the Labour Party base (which, despite Labour’s huge majority in the Parliament, is relatively small among the public), but looking weak is likely not. 

Starmer has become a punching bag both inside Great Britain and around the world. He looks very much like he is kowtowing to his Muslim constituency, at a time when hostility to Muslims is reaching an all-time high. 





Starmer’s political career is hanging by a thread, and if Operation Epic Fury turns out to be a major success, I suspect his weakness in opposing Iran and his deeper embrace of pro-Iran Muslims in his country will be the last straw. 

At least I hope so. 

UPDATE: Starmer just took another blow. After making clear he wants closer relations with China, his security services just arrested three Chinese spies. 





Whose side is he on? Cozying up to China, being softer on Iran than on British citizens who criticize Islam, and declaring Muslims to be “the face of modern Britain.” 

The Labour Party better dump him sooner rather than later.
