Why Tommy Fury’s latest move shows ‘nothing has changed’ with Molly Mae ahead of second child’s birth

MOLLY-MAE has been loving nearly every moment of her picture perfect pregnancy – but she could be facing spending her first days as a mum-of-two without Tommy Fury by her side.

The 26-year-old has just months left before she gives birth, but Tommy‘s latest move may have just burst her bubble.

Molly and Tommy haven’t had the smoothest of journeys with his “cheating” scandal in 2024, followed by their shock split and her sister, Zoe Rae, publicly feuding with the boxer.

The now smitten couple officially reunited in May 2025 and announced their second pregnancy back in February.

But Tommy’s latest move is set to leave Molly fuming.

Businesswoman Molly is due to give birth on June 12 but last week Tommy threw a spanner in the works.

FIGHT NIGHT

Tommy Fury risks Molly-Mae’s wrath with a fight the day after her due date

FESTIVE FURYS

Molly-Mae Hague reveals Christmas plans at £5m Cheshire mansion –

He revealed his next big fight against World’s Strongest Man, Eddie Hall, will take place only a day later on June 13.

While boxers often fight twice a year, this will be the former Love Islander’s first fight in over a year.

Neither Tommy nor Eddie are recovering from previous fights – which can take up to six months depending on the damage they take – so why have they scheduled their clash so close to the birth of his second bundle of joy?

It could’ve been Eddie who pushed for the date, but the athletes are close pals – having appeared in each others YouTube videos.

This will surely spell out turmoil for the Maebe creator, who suffered through separation from Tommy just days after she gave birth to Bambi Fury, three.

A source close to Molly tells us: “Molly had an incredibly tough time when she gave birth to Bambi.

“Tommy was away training so she was thrown into the world of parenthood on her own. It was scary and really hard. Her sister moved in to help her out and honestly saved her during that time.

“She is determined not to have the same experience this time and has put plans in place to protect herself. It’s a real shame that once again Tommy is going to be busy throughout the first few weeks and of course it did raise eyebrows with Zoe, who has never been his biggest fan.

“In lots of ways it feels like nothing has changed and they are back to square one, but Molly knows she can do it alone. She made the choice to get back with Tommy and her family just have to support her now.

“Her parents would love her to have a conventional relationship and for Tommy to take paternity leave like other dads do but they know that isn’t going to happen.”

“Everyone is really hoping it doesn’t all fall apart and she has an easier ride than last time.”

Following the arrival of Bambi in January 2023, Tommy jetted off to Saudi Arabia for the biggest fight of his career against Jake Paul

He was gone for the four weeks after Molly gave birth and she was left to her own devices raising Bambi and figuring out how to be a mum.

While she had her parents, sister and close friends for support, the YouTube star told her followers she didn’t sleep for a week after giving birth, making herself ill, running purely on adrenaline.

She confessed the period of her life was “traumatising” without Tommy’s support.

Molly, just 23-years-old at the time, said: “The first four weeks of Bambi’s life I really did do it by myself and I was home alone with her.

“I pushed a lot of people away, I don’t know why.

“It sounds dramatic and it sounds intense but I guess I do have a little bit of trauma from the first few weeks.

“Traumatised is a really strong word, but I am slightly, when I look back at the first few weeks of when she came home it sends shivers down my spine, I had no idea what I was doing.”

Molly, who has nearly nine million Instagram followers, candidly opened up about this tough period of her life to her fans.

Die hard followers of the Love Island alum will remember how the star seemingly spiralled into quite a dark place after giving birth the first time.

She told how she felt sad, deeply anxious and lonely. Molly really didn’t enjoy her start to motherhood.

It feels as though history is already repeating itself.

Would Tommy risk putting Molly through the same pain all over again?

From the outside looking in, it could appear that nothing has truly changed between the pair when it comes to Tommy’s boxing career.

One fan wrote on social media: “This is actually insane… he knows how much it affected Molly the first time and yet does it again? But also the whole lead up she will be so stressed?? Why would you want that for both baby and mum?”

Another penned: “It’s the fact she openly came out saying how hard newborn life with Bambi was because he wasn’t there and he’s doing it again?”

A third fan added: “It’s just so awful. I really feel for her. Nothing changes.”

Meanwhile, a fourth person said: “So he’s doing this all again the same way it happened with Bambi.”

Tommy addressed his decision to fight the day after Molly’s due date. He said: “I have a job, but obviously I love my family too.”

He didn’t comment on why the fight was scheduled to take place during the same month.

Influencer Molly has publicly supported her man commenting, “SHOW TIME” under his fight announcement.

While there’s no doubt Tommy is an incredible dad, in the past he has appeared to prioritise himself over his family – going out drinking all night, partying with other women and going away for months at a time to train.

During her documentary, Molly Mae: Behind It All, Molly confessed that one of the reasons they got back together was because Tommy had become “the best version of himself.”

Molly’s sister, Zoe Rae, was publicly against her getting back with Tommy after constantly hearing about what he was putting her through.

It evidently became taxing on Zoe and she definitely wasn’t Tommy’s number one fan with the pair caught up in a bitter feud.

On Molly’s documentary she said: “We definitely butted heads a fair few times about him going out and me being overprotective with Molly.

“He was great with Bambi but he wasn’t at the time being a great partner, and I think that’s what she potentially couldn’t see.”

Molly’s mum Debbie said: “As much as I’m very fond of him, over the years there were so many occasions, where I witnessed myself that made me so beyond worried about you.”

Tommy appears to have now healed his relationships with Molly’s family and alcohol.
