ENGLAND return to international action against Uruguay at Wembley – but will wear their red away shirt, despite being at home.
The Three Lions have been out-of-action since they rounded off a perfect World Cup qualifying campaign in November.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have conceded just three goals in 10 games since the start of 2025, with all three coming in a friendly against Senegal.
They have kept nine clean sheets in that time, going the entire qualifying campaign without losing, or conceding a goal.
Nike launched England’s World Cup kits a week ago, but tonight they will wear their red away shirt, despite playing at home.

Why are Uruguay wearing red against Uruguay?
England are wearing red against Uruguay due to a commercial benefit for kit manufacturers Nike.
The US based brand launched the Three Lions’ home and away kits for the World Cup a week ago, with this international break the first time they have had a chance to wear the shirts.
Thomas Tuchel’s side will wear their red shirt tonight, and wear their white shirt against Japan next week.
Japan currently play in dark blue, with red-vs-blue currently avoided where possible as it is classed as a kit clash.
Uruguay currently play in light blue, which would be a clash with England’s white, presenting the Three Lions with a chance to debut their red away kit.
