TOTTENHAM boss Thomas Frank has returned as the favourite to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked, with his odds slashed from 6/4 to 17/20.
That’s according to bookmaker Betfair, who have updated their managerial markets following the latest dramatic twists and turns in the Premier League.

Who has been sacked this season?
The managerial merry-go-round began with Nuno Espirito Santo, who became the first casualty of the season after being dismissed by Nottingham Forest. Just 19 days later, Graham Potter followed suit, parting ways with West Ham after only eight months at the helm.
Ange Postecoglou was third to go, lasting only 39 days before Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis wielded the axe once more – dismissing him just 20 minutes after their defeat to Chelsea.
Vitor Pereira was relieved of his duties after a dire start to the season at Wolves in which they’ve collected just TWO points from 10 games at the start of the campaign. January sparked a flurry of managerial activity with both Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca and Manchester United’s Ruben Amorim sacked after poor runs.

Thomas Frank – 17/20
Thomas Frank is odds-on favourite to be the next Premier League manager sent packing, despite Sunday’s thrilling 2-2 draw with Manchester City.
Dominic Solanke helped to engineer a stunning fightback as Spurs came from two goals down to earn a point against Pep Guardiola’s title-chasing side.
The result eased the pressure on Frank, whose position at the club has been under significant scrutiny, with plenty of applause from home supporters at the final whistle.
While Tottenham sit 14th in the Premier League, they are now unbeaten in four matches in all competitions and have advanced to the last 16 of the Champions League – finishing above Barcelona in fourth place in the league phase.
And Frank himself certainly isn’t throwing in the towel.
After the game, he said: “We can create something magic together – the players and the fans – when we are united like we were. I love that never-say-die attitude from the players, and the fans were massive for us. The mentality is building stronger and stronger.”
He will, however, need to register some wins to retain the backing of the board, and that will be easier said than done ahead of their next three games, which include Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal.

Arne Slot – 5/2
Things are looking a lot rosier for Arne Slot at Liverpool.
The Dutchman, who had been the odds-on favourite after the Bournemouth defeat, is now available at 5/2 having secured emphatic back-to-back wins.
Liverpool enjoyed a 6-0 demolition job of Qarabag to comfortably advance to the last 16 of the Champions League before a sizeable 4-1 win over Newcastle at the weekend.
The Reds have suffered just one defeat in their last 16 matches in all competitions, and sit just two points off Manchester United in fourth place.

Oliver Glasner – 5/2
Oliver Glasner is next in the betting market at 5/2.
The 51-year-old Austrian has already announced he will leave Crystal Palace at the end of the season after openly criticising the club’s transfer policy, including the sales of Eberechi Eze to Arsenal and Marc Guehi to Manchester City.
On the pitch, results have been just as troubled. The Eagles drew 1-1 with 10-man Nottingham Forest at the weekend, extending their winless league run to nine matches – 12 in all competitions – with only Burnley enduring a longer streak in the top flight.
Glasner insists he is “100% committed” for the remainder of his tenure, but that could change if the Eagles are dragged closer to the relegation places. They currently sit 15th – nine points clear of West Ham – ahead of games against Brighton, Burnley and Wolves.
What the bookies are saying
Betfair spokesperson, James Mackie said: “Despite coming from behind to rescue a draw against Premier League title-chasing Manchester City, Thomas Frank has returned as the odds-on favourite to be the seventh manager to leave the Premier League. He was 6/4, but is now 17/20 despite avoiding defeat on Sunday afternoon.
“After recording a convincing 4-1 win against Newcastle, Liverpool manager Arne Slot’s odds have drifted to 5/2 from 17/20, with Oliver Glasner also 5/2 and Pep Guardiola leading the rest of the market at 20/1.”
Who was sacked last season (2024-25)?
A total of eight Premier League managers were shown the door last season, with Manchester United’s Erik ten Hag the first to go in October.
Steve Cooper’s short-lived stint at Leicester came to a sudden end in November, before Wolves and Southampton parted ways with Gary O’Neil and Russell Martin on the same December afternoon.
Julen Lopetegui and Sean Dyche followed in January, their departures announced less than 24 hours apart. In April, Ivan Juric became the second Southampton manager to be sacked during the 2024–25 campaign.
Despite ending Tottenham’s 17-year trophy drought, Ange Postecoglou was the final manager to leave his post, dismissed in June after overseeing the club’s worst-ever Premier League finish – 17th.
