A WOMAN was left stunned when she opened her gift from playing the Christmas present game, White Elephant.
Kamaya Robles, from the US, took to social media to show the insane present she was given.

In the video, she picked out the red gift bag she was handed while playing the game.
The game of White Elephant starts with everyone bringing a gift and placing it in the middle of the table.
Each player picks a number out of the hat that corresponds with the number of players and gifts.
The person with number one starts and can select any gift from the pile, as each player takes a turn, they can then pick whether they want to steal a gift from somebody else or take from the pile as well.
Once everyone has had a turn, you can then continue to do the same for two more rounds.
You then get to open the gift that you have after the third round is over.
Kamaya was left with the red bag and when she opened it, she was left stunned.
In her bag was a cup of water with a small fish inside, along with fish food.
Obviously, giving someone a pet as a surprise gift is never a good idea, but Kamaya went on to buy a fish tank as soon as possible to make it more comfortable.
The gift caused uproar in the comments section of the video, and it seems the gift giver took the game a little too literally.
The game of White Elephant comes from when the King of Siam (now Thailand) gave rare albino elephants to people he didn’t like.
It’s believed that he hoped the elephant would make the receiver struggle with money by keeping up with the cost of looking after the animal.
The video soon went viral on her TikTok account @kamayarobles with over 17 million views and 2 million likes.
Many took to the comments, urging people not to buy pets as Christmas presents.
One person wrote: “This is a real white elephant gift by definition.”
Eve PETA commented: “Animals being given as gifts is what’s out of hand. They’re living beings, not party favours.”
“Repeat after me: animals are not gifts. Especially not gag gifts. That is a living being,” penned a third.
Best Christmas gifts for people who have everything
The Fabulous team have put their heads together and shared the best gifts to give someone who has everything already!
Candle
There’s something deeply appealing about fragrances that aren’t trying too hard to be seasonal; after all, no one wants to smell Christmas in the middle of January. La Montaña’s collection of hand-poured candles, reed diffusers, and room mists provides instant atmospheric transformation. Cloudburst, £45, really does smell like a mountainside after rain, and the new stunning Wisteria, £45 fragrance will remind you of spring when you’re in the depth of dark winter days.
Candle wick trimmer
Tara Ledden, Fabulous Magazine Beauty Editor
“For the pickiest recipients, buy tools rather than cosmetics. To pair with the a candle, Jo Malone’s London Ribbon and Bow Metal Candle Wick Trimmer, £34, is my favourite find of the season, and an essential for any candle lover. It’s even pretty enough to double up as an ornament!”
Luxury tea
Abigail Wilson, Senior Reporter
“For that person in your life who literally has everything, why not stock up their cupboard and treat them to tasty teas that scream luxury? We Brits love a good brew, and Fortnum & Mason have smashed it out of the park with their Famous Tea Selection. Complete with 120 tea bags, it’s a brilliant gift for tea devotees and at £30, it’s not badly priced either.”
Rose plant
Rebecca Miller, Associate Editor
“Maybe I’m biased because I love gardening, but giving a rose bush as a Christmas present is not only personal and thoughtful, but it’s the gift that keeps on growing and blooming long after the Christmas decorations have been put away. What’s more, late December is the ideal time to pot or plant a bare-root rose.
“You Garden’s Rose Black Baccara makes a stunning addition to any outdoor space; its velvety blooms in sultry, deep burgundy shades provide a dramatic addition during the summer. And for just £17.99, it can also pass as a great Secret Santa gift.”
Scarf
Abby McHale, Fashion Editor & Emily Regan, Fashion Stylist
“Men can be notoriously tricky to buy for, but you can’t go wrong with a classic tartan scarf. Barbour’s iconic Wool Patchwork scarf, £49.95, in Forest/Bronze Brown delivers warmth and style. Soft, cosy and timeless, it’s a refined finishing touch for cold-weather outfits.”
Meanwhile a fourth said: “The way I would have left the gift, stood up, and ghosted everyone in attendance.”
“Hey guys! Pets don’t make good gifts! You’re forcing a responsiblity, a life, and an investment on someone, hope this helps!” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “It’s just insane to give an unsuspecting person a responsibility like that.”
