What It’s Like to Live Under a Soros Prosecutor – HotAir

For some reason, the liberal tolerance for social decay has been on my mind a lot lately.

It’s not that violent crime is at an all-time high in the United States. It actually isn’t at all. One of the perversities of the decline in the fecundity of Americans is that there are fewer people in the prime criminal age categories, which has contributed to a drop in violent crime. Add to that, and Trump’s National Guard crackdowns in cities like Washington, D.C., and the murder rate in America is at or near all-time lows.

Still, all the signs of social decay in Deep Blue cities are getting worse, and violent crime by lifetime criminals, either in protected classes such as illegal aliens or “oppressed” minorities, or among the severely mentally ill, is getting worse. When you add in the fact that a lot of crimes are no longer reported because police are hamstrung and prosecutors let people off, a sense of social collapse is inescapable.

Our streets and public transport systems show the most signs of social decay. In Minneapolis, our light rail system is a moving homeless refuge and drug den, and in Charlotte, you can get randomly killed on their light rail, and Democrats won’t even mourn for the loss of your daughter.

The response? City voters just elected a jail abolitionist as a judge. It’s mind-bending.

Go to any liberal city, and you will find homeless drug addicts killing themselves with fentanyl on the streets, and people like Scott Weiner are decriminalizing prostitution and making it impossible for the police to save young girls from human trafficking.

Some of the most beautiful cities in America are being destroyed by policies everybody knows are harmful, but for some reason, Democrats flock to support the politicians who are making their lives hell. To own Republicans? Because they believe this is social justice? Or is there enough voter fraud to keep this up?

For Democrats, this is, literally, a business. They make a lot of money off the chaos, as taxpayers are convinced to shell out billions of dollars in the hope that the chaos can be thwarted.

The homeless are farmed for cash, as money flows into NGOs, hotel rooms, fake construction projects, and countless social programs.

Homeless people are paid for signatures on petitions and for their ballots, which are mailed to phony addresses where hundreds of homeless people are registered. Why do you think that voter ID is seen as poison to Democrats?

Criminals have become, simultaneously, heroes and victims, depending on the narrative that needs to be pushed. George Floyd has statues and parks named after him, while people like Daniel Penny are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

A Soros prosecutor is releasing murderers into the public to commit crimes again. He is giving insanity pleas to criminal after criminal, and this famously liberal area hates Republicans so much that they let it happen.

Literal terrorists are given a pass, because…why not?

Criminals, fraudsters, juvenile delinquents…all given  a pass because they are actually “victims” of a white supremacist colonial society, whose citizens deserve to get whatever the oppressed want to dish out at them.

The criminal class is not large, by societal standards. Most violent crimes are committed by repeat offenders, often with rap sheets that extend page after page. Many are here illegally and should be deported, but Democrats will literally close down the Department of Homeland Security to ensure that they can stay here.

The social decay we are living through has been created by a choice. There is nothing inevitable about it. Everybody knows how to prevent it.

Democrats seem to want it. Whether it is misplaced guilt, a desire to punish people for being “privileged,” or anarcho-terrorism straight out of the communist playbook, it amounts to the same result: social destruction.

Editor’s note: If we thought our job in pushing back against the Academia/media/Democrat censorship complex was over with the election, think again. This is going to be a long fight.
