West Ham vs Nottingham Forest preview
Nottingham Forest head to the capital this weekend knowing that anything less than three points could extinguish their fading hopes of Champions League qualification.
While European football is already secured for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, a top-five finish now appears increasingly unlikely after a dismal run of form.
Forest have managed just one win in their last seven Premier League outings, slipping to seventh in the table – trailing Aston Villa and Chelsea with only two fixtures remaining.
Tensions bubbled over during last week’s fiery 2-2 draw with Leicester, where Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis was seen in a heated exchange with Nuno on the pitch after the final whistle. That result means Forest’s fate is now out of their own hands.
Still, there is a glimmer of hope.
Should Villa falter against Europa League finalists Manchester United or Tottenham, and Forest secure victory at the London Stadium, it could set up a dramatic final-day showdown at the City Ground against Chelsea for a top-five finish.
But first, Forest must take care of business against West Ham.
The visitors can draw confidence from recent head-to-heads, having won their last two league encounters with the Hammers. A win on Saturday would secure their first league double over West Ham since the 1983–84 season.
As for the hosts, West Ham come into their final home match of the campaign off the back of an impressive win over Manchester United.
While they can finish no higher than 13th under manager Graham Potter, the Hammers will be keen to sign off at home with a positive result.
The stats are on their side: West Ham have won five of their six Premier League home games against Forest and are unbeaten in their final home fixture in each of the last seven seasons (W5 D2).

West Ham vs Nottingham Forest preview betting tips and predictions
Win and BTTS
I’m expecting West Ham to deliver the killer blow to Nottingham Forest’s Champions League prospects.
Graham Potter’s side will take confidence from their away victory over Manchester United, and will want to sign off in style at the London Stadium.
They are also hosting a Nottingham Forest side who’ve stumbled at exactly the wrong moment. The visitors have created the fewest big chances in the entire division over the last five league matches with just five. They also have the third-lowest expected goals (xG) in the league and the fourth-highest expected goals conceded (xGC).
West Ham’s xGC isn’t the best either, so we’re backing the Hammers to win and both teams to get on the scoresheet.

Involved
West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen is finishing with a flourish.
The attacker has been involved in six goals in his last six Premier League games (4 goals, 2 assists), scoring in each of his last three at the London Stadium. He’s also struck four goals and provided two assists in 12 career appearances against Saturday’s visitors.
