In fact, Ginge himself has shared the 2022 clip on TikTok with the caption: ‘Girlfriend breaks up with me on live stream. So embarrassing.’

While broadcasting live to his followers, Ginge receives a text and says: ‘Oh sorry, just my girlfriend messaging my chat.’

Reading the text out loud, it says: ‘Why did you send me that? It looks f*****g disgusting. We’re over.’

It remains unclear what message she was referring to.

Ginge then looks visibly emotional, putting the phone down as he scrunches up his face and fights back tears.

In Tuesday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity, the streamer recounted this story to campmate Ruby Wax.

He began by recalling how he and his ex became official, with Ginge saying he ‘had rose petals, from the front door all the way up the stairs and then it opened to my room, there’s a teddy bear, there’s a rose and then I officially asked her to be my girlfriend.’

Ginge – whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle – added: ‘I had to carry on for six more hours.’

The pair also discussed Ginge’s mindset, after he’d had a ‘down day’ on Monday due to homesickness and his campmates telling him they weren’t impressed by fooling them into believing he performed poorly at the Bushtucker Trial.

Confirming he was in a better mood, Ginge said: ‘Much better, yesterday I was just terrible…’

‘I’ve gone ten days without seeing my mum for example but I’ve always been able to ring her and text her, so not being able to communicate at all, it all gets on top of you.’

It comes as Ginge is reportedly set to cash in on his increased fame – with a stream of lucrative deals lined-up.

Since appearing in the jungle, he has amassed over 1.4 million followers on Twitch and 900,000 subscribers on YouTube – with his popularity showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

It has been reported that his team have already received offers for TV projects, brand deals and a major book contract.

According to reports, interest surged the moment he hit TV screens, with broadcasters and big-name retailers all vying to sign him as soon as he returns home.

A source told The Mirror: ‘Since the moment Ginge stepped foot in the jungle, the commercial interest has gone through the roof.

‘He’s been absolutely inundated with offers, far more than anyone predicted. Brands have very quickly clocked that he’s not just a viral creator; he’s genuinely relatable, he speaks the language of real people, and he connects with an audience that many big companies have struggled to reach.’

I’m A Celebrity continues on ITV1 and ITVX.
