EMMA Willis has broken down in tears and called for a break as the Love Is Blind UK reunion descended into chaos.
The Netflix dating experiment returned last night after 15 men and 15 women entered the “pods” in a bid to find love with someone without ever seeing them.
Three couples made it to the finish line
Participants only get to meet their match once they get engaged – and from there it’s a six week rollercoaster to the finish line including romantic getaways, living together, and meeting loved ones.
The UK finale of the programme witnessed three couples exchange vows – Kieran and Megan, Billy and Ashleigh and Kal and Sarover with plans to live happily ever after.
And fans were excited to watch the reunion last night, which disclosed which couples had remained together following the weddings.
However, sadly only Kieran and Megan remained happily married.
“Do you still have faith in love?”
Cabin Crew Manager Ashleigh opened up about the breakdown of her marriage to Military Man Billy, after he told hosts Matt and Emma Willis that they were no longer together.
Emma asked Ashleigh: “In your vows you thanked him for restoring your faith in love. Do you still have faith in love?”
Ashleigh replied: “I still have faith in love but not from this man.
Billy added: “Good, I’m glad.”
And Ashleigh continued: “I have faith in love from this experiment and being brave every single day of that experiment.
“And exposing myself in every possible way because I wanted this to work.
“And I wanted to find true love and someone who would make me feel safe every single day.
“And love me unconditionally every single day and not give up within three months because I have a role which is very similar to yours, where I travel at times.
“I want someone with a backbone. Someone who loves me for me and all of me 365 days of the year until we pass.
“I want that love story and I deserve that love story and I love myself for that.”
Emma broke down in tears
After a visibly emotional Ashleigh concluded, the studio audience applauded her words and Emma said: “I know, I know this is really hard.
“But thank you both so much for being here, for being honest and I do hope you both find genuine love until the day you die.”
Emma then sighed and admitted: “Oh, you got me you two did”.
She then apologised and wiped away her tears.
As she reached for a handkerchief and dabbed her eyes, her husband Matt comforted her and said: “Shall we take another break?”
An emotional Emma agreed and then said: “Sorry guys.”
