The UFC legend won the fight with a stunning uppercut that appeared to be inspired by the Watford brawler.
Silva, 50, stormed to victory with a second-round TKO over Woodley.
He outboxed the 43-year-old MMA fighter and the clean uppercut sent his foe tumbling.
Slow-motion video highlights of the bout showed how the brutal punch disrupted Woodley.
Before Woodley completely fell to the ground, Silva was still able to land a couple more head shots to finish the job.
