A-LIST supermodels, bedazzled lingerie and eye-popping angel wings, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is back in business.
Last night in New York, the world’s sexiest show took place featuring the likes of the jaw-dropping Adriana Lima, Gigi and Bella Hadid and Candice Swanepoel.
Die-hard fans will have recognised many of the head-turning models in the show, particularly as some of the ‘Angels’ have been walking the prestigious runway for years.
Here, we take a trip down memory lane and revisit some of the OG stars’ unforgettable Victoria’s Secret debuts…
Adriana Lima
Perhaps, the most iconic VS star is the inimitable Adriana Lima, who first made her debut on their runway in 1999.
The stunning Brazilian, 44, quickly became one of the brands most recognisable faces, and over a quarter of a century, is still a force of nature.
More on Victoria’s Secret
Over the years, she delivered many iconic moments, including wearing the Fantasy Bra three times – more than almost any other Angel.
She has often made headlines not only for her modelling career but also for her personal life, including her marriage and subsequent divorce from Marko Jarić and the birth of her three children.
She tied the knot with film producer Andre Lemmers in 2024.
Known for her disciplined fitness routine, Adriana has spoken openly about her intense pre-show training, which included daily workouts and a clean, protein-rich diet.
She once revealed that preparation for the runway was “like training for a big fight.”
Alessandra Ambrosio
Also in the VS elite is Alessandra Ambrosio, who made her debut at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2000 and has been a popular presence ever since.
The Brazilian model, 44, quickly became one of the brand’s most beloved Angels, and wore the Fantasy Bra in 2012 and 2014.
Off the runway, she has been in the spotlight for her personal life, including her long-term relationship with former fiance Jamie Mazur, which ended in 2018, and being a mum of two to their kids.
She now believes she has “finally found” true love with new boyfriend Australian Buck Palmer.
She has been open about how she maintains her trim physique through a mix of yoga, Pilates, and beach workouts, paired with a balanced diet rather than extreme restrictions.
Tyra Banks
One of the most legendary Angels of all time is the one and only Tyra Banks, who made her debut at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 1996 at the age of 23.
She went on to help define the brand’s early success, and was the first Black model to wear the Fantasy Bra in 1997.
Although she didn’t walk in this year’s show, she did feature in the 2024 runway, after the production had taken a five-year hiatus.
It was her first VS show in 19 years, and she said at the time: “I never thought that I would be back on this runway, to be honest.”
Now 51, American model Tyra balances her modelling life with her TV opportunities and being a mum to son York Banks Asla, who she had with her ex-boyfriend Erik Asla.
Known for her honest approach to health and fitness, she has said her runway preparation focused on balanced eating and strength training, emphasising confidence over strict dieting.
Jasmine Tookes
Viewers of the 2025 runway will have watched as Jasmine Tookes opened the show being a staggering nine months pregnant.
Cradling her bump at the end of the catwalk, the American model, 32, stole the show in a golden, fishnet-style dress adorned with teardrop-shaped gems, which covered her nude lingerie.
She’s been a popular figure of the brand for 13 years, having made her debut in 2012.
Married to Juan David Borrero, Jasmine has spoken about her Victoria’s Secret preparation, emphasising a mix of strength training, cardio, and Pilates.
Bella Hadid
One of the most sought-after models in the world, Bella Hadid has gone from strength to strength after first appearing in the show in 2016.
Nearly a decade later, she is still going strong in the VS show – this year showcasing a new golden hairstyle.
Beyond her modelling career, Bella has been open about her health struggles, including chronic pain due to Lyme disease.
She has also shared her desire to start a family with her cowboy boyfriend, Adan Banuelos, expressing readiness for marriage and children.
She told British Vogue: “I can’t wait to be a mum.
“I think that I’m somebody for a lot of people, but in the real intimate way of being the person that somebody can count on consistently, that will change my life for me. And I cannot wait.”
Candice Swanepoel
South African bombshell Candice Swanepoel made her debut in 2007 at the age of 19.
Now 36 years old, she is one of the brand’s most celebrated models to walk the runway.
As well as opening the show multiple times, she also wore the Fantasy Bra in 2013 and 2018.
Candice has kept busy off the catwalk, having two kids with ex-partner Hermann Nicoli, and also does a mix of intense workouts and Pilates to maintain her lean figure, as well as eating a high-protein diet.
Doutzen Kroes
Dutch Doutzen Kroes first walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway in 2005 at the age of 20 – and looks as sensational as ever today.
The bombshell model, now 40, has shared insights into her fitness and diet regime over the years, and has stated: “Diet is 70 per cent of what your body looks like.
“You can work out all you like but if you don’t eat well… I stop drinking [alcohol] a month before the show and no sugar.
“I still eat carbs because to have just protein and vegetables for me, it doesn’t work. But I eat one potato with some fish and greens – very basic and happy food.”
She also told Vogue: “One thing that I’ve always done since I was younger is suck in my stomach. I think that gave me [ab] muscles.”
Doutzen tied the knot with Dutch DJ Sunnery James in 2010 and they have two children, a son named Phyllon Joy and a daughter named Myllena Mae.
Barbara Palvin
Stunning Barbara Pavlin, from Hungary, first graced the VS runway in 2012 – and has been a regular star ever since.
This year she bravely navigated the catwalk having broken her foot a month before, and was supported in the audience by actor husband Dylan Sprouse, who she married in 2023.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, she had surgery to alleviate symptoms of her endometriosis, which she has bravely spoken about.
Known for her balanced approach to health and fitness, Barbara follows the 80/20 rule, maintaining a healthy diet 80 per cent of the time and allowing herself indulgences the remaining 20 per cent.
Irina Shayk
Russian model Irina Shayk has been a dominant force in wings since she started for the brand in 2016 – and has previously posted for Rihanna’s lingerie line, Savage X Fenty too.
The 39-year-old supermodel’s impressive dating roster includes long-term relationships with soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and actor Bradley Cooper, with whom she shares a daughter, Lea De Seine.
Other notable romances include briefly dating Kanye West in 2021 and NFL star Tom Brady in 2023.
Known for her disciplined approach to fitness, she has said: “I try to move every day – I love Pilates, yoga, and I run a lot. I think confidence comes from feeling strong in your own body.”
Inside the 2025 Victoria’s Secret show
MANY A-list models stunned while strutting down the runway donning lingerie at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
The night was filled with beauty and sexy outfits for the brand’s annual runway show on Wednesday night in New York City.
It began with jaw-dropping looks from models wearing an array of sultry lingerie, including pregnant Jasmine Tookes, who stepped out first in a barely-there gold beaded number.
She paused at the end of the runway as she cradled her baby bump and was met with cheers from the crowd.
Others like Behati Prinsloo and Alessandra Ambrosio matched her all-gold look in string two-piece ensembles, the former with a massive train, while Alessandra rocked giant wings.
Soon after, several musical acts took the stage.
Madison Beer started the lineup, performing her hit track Bittersweet while wearing nothing but a white angel corset.
She blended in perfectly with the ladies, as most wore variations of white and pink outfits.
Gigi Hadid turned heads in a skimpy pink lingerie set with an enormous pink, feathery coat draped over her arms.
Shortly after, the stage transformed into the brand’s signature pink-and-white polka-dot colors for its PINK loungewear collection.
The singing group TWICE then entered the runway, making history as the first K-pop girl group to perform at the exclusive event.
The foursome sported varying form-fitting ensembles, with knee-high furry boots.
