US forces have sunk an Iranian warship as Donald Trump’s Epic Fury strikes continue to batter the rogue nation.
The US military said it has hit an Iranian ship, which is “currently sinking to the bottom of the Gulf of Oman”.

It comes as…
In a statement, US Central Command said: “An Iranian Jamaran-class corvette was struck by US forces during the start of Operation Epic Fury.
“As the President said, members of Iran’s armed forces, IRGC and police ‘must lay down your weapons.’ Abandon ship.”
Satellite imagery showed billowing smoke raising from a ship sitting pier-side in Konarak on Saturday.
It is not yet clear if it is the Jamaran-class corvette.
The port city is located in Iran’s southeastern corner along the Gulf of Oman.
It comes as three US troops have been killed as Iran relentlessly blitzes Middle East nations.
Five have also been seriously wounded, according to US Central Command.
Trump previously warned “American heroes may be lost” as the US and Israel yesterday unleashed mass strikes on Iran – sparking retaliation from Tehran.
Iran’s revolutionary guards this afternoon said they had targeted Trump’s USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier with four ballistic missiles.
But the US military has confirmed the rockets failed to hit the carrier and “didn’t even come close”.
The USS Lincoln is one of two aircraft carriers deployed to the region in recent weeks, and the only one relatively close to Iranian shores.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said they had attacked nearly 30 US military bases across the Middle East on Sunday morning.
The attacks form part of the regime’s “most-intense offensive operation” ever.

Trump hit back, vowing to blast Iran “with force like never before”.
In a Truth Social Post he declared: “Iran just stated that they are going to hit very hard today, harder than they have ever hit before.
“THEY BETTER NOT DO THAT, HOWEVER, BECAUSE IF THEY DO, WE WILL HIT THEM WITH A FORCE THAT HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE!”
Donald Trump confirmed on Saturday morning he had given the green light on major strikes on Iran in an operation dubbed Epic Fury as he vowed to obliterate Tehran’s missiles, and end the Ayatollah’s evil regime.
