COPS have issued a major update in the hunt for a 24-year-old following the alleged murder of a builder.
A manhunt was launched after a man in his 40s was discovered dead at an address in Birmingham on Friday morning.
Cops later released an image of Asad Khan as part of their investigation into the man’s tragic death.
West Midlands Police confirmed they wanted to speak to Khan and warned the public not to approach him.
Appealing for more information yesterday, they issued a major update on the potential location of Khan.
He is believed to be around the Covent Garden area in central London, according to the force.
Detective Inspector Nick Barnes, from the Homicide Team, said: “We really need to hear from anyone who has any information on Khan’s whereabouts to get in touch.
“If you see him or know where he is, you must not approach him, but get in touch with us immediately.”
Emergency crews were scrambled to Alum Rock Road at around 7am on Friday, where they found the victim suffering from stab wounds.
Despite the best efforts of medical teams, the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police remained at an alleyway behind the premises and outside a house in Jackson Road after the stabbing.
Locals said the victim was a “builder”, adding he was a “a nice person who kept himself to himself.”
Cops warned the public against approaching Khan and if they see him to instead contact police immediately.
