Unfortunate boxer drops to 1-100 record in just SEVEN YEARS as fans say ‘imagine being the one guy who lost to him’

JAKE POLLARD, a boxer with one of the worst records possible, has lost for the 100th time.

The 33-year-old journeyman was beaten by Hassan Ishaq – making it four defeats in October alone.

Pollard’s overall record now stands at a brutal 1-100 – with that single win coming in his 50th fight over two years ago.

Taking to the ring as part of the undercard for Joseph Parker vs Fabio Wardley’s standout fight at the O2 Arena, London, Pollard brought up an unwanted century.

In the second round of four, Pollard took two heavy right-handed punches to the face before collapsing to the ground.

Seconds later, the referee called a technical knockout to end the battle, condemning Pollard to his 51st straight loss.

Talking about the fight online, some Reddit users were split on how to analyse the fight.

One said: “He won that fight after about 45-50 fights. So based on that, he is due for a second win!”

Another replied to that: “The optimism, I was looking for on this gloomy Saturday… Thanks Redditor”.

Meanwhile, another poster was looking at Louis Smithson, who is the only man to be bettered by Pollard in an official clash.

Smithson did go on to get his revenge for losing on points to Pollard, getting one back over him just a few months later.

Ironically, Pollard is the only fighter for Smithson himself to beat as he holds a record of 1-9, although only six of those losses were in professional meetings.

With many questioning Pollard, the explanation for his shocking win-loss ratio comes because he takes on numerous fights against younger, promising boxers.

Starting in late February, he has lost a total of 17 times this year with more opportunities to turn things around set to follow.
