AN ULTRA-rare Cadbury’s chocolate bar has been spotted at a little-known supermarket, which shoppers have been racing to try.
The chocolates have been imported as treats not commonly seen in the sweet aisle.
An excited shopper found the rare chocolates at Farmfoods, and shared them on social media.
In a post to the Food Finds UK Official Facebook group, he wrote: “Few imported finds in Farmfoods”.
Farmfoods is a Scottish supermarket chain, but has over 300 of its stores throughout Great Britain.
One of the chocolate bars that spotted at the Farmfoods store was a Cadbury Dairy Milk Bubbly Milk Chocolate bar.
It is not just a regular milk chocolate bar, but is filled with aerated bubbles for a fun twist on the classic Cadbury’s chocolates.
They have been priced at 59p each, or two for £1 at Farmfoods.
Another that caught this shopper’s eye was Cadbury’s Moro Bite bars, on sale at 19p each or three for £1.
Moros are known to have a caramel and nougat whip centre, covered in a thick layer of dairy milk chocolate.
They originally come from Australia and New Zealand, said to be similar to a Mars Bar.
The third flavour spotted was Mandolins, said to be Cadbury’s version of a Twix.
Mandolins are known to come from Egypt, where it is a traditional and popular brand.
They are filled with a crunchy biscuit and soft caramel, wrapped in Cadbury’s milk chocolate.
These were going for 49p each, or three for £1 at Farmfoods.
All these chocolates are labelled to have been imported from Rose Cottage in Oswestry, Shropshire by The Food Trader.
The Mandolins are perhaps the most rare of the collection, which left chocolate fans curious.
One comment on the Facebook post wrote under the photo of the Mandolin: “Never seen them lol.”
Another asked: “What’s this one??”
A member of the group responded: “These are really nice.
Poundstretcher were selling a box of them for £1.99 until recently.”
A second added: “Like a Twix but softer”.
