BRITS are in for a treat this month after the UK’s most popular ice cream brand announced it is to give out free scoops.
A select number of UK stores will be giving away the treats between 12pm and 8pm – and there’s no limit to how many cones will be given out on the day.

Ben & Jerry’s is celebrating Free Cone Day on April 14 this year with stores around the world taking part in the event.
You can see which UK stores are participating in the box, below.
The Vermont based ice cream brand has hosted a Free Cone Day since 1979, when it decided to give back to the community to thank them for the support they had received in their first year of business.
Since then, Free Cone Day has grown dramatically, and is now celebrated all over the world in April.
Ben & Jerry’s said: “Free cone day is being celebrated around the world and we’ll be giving away free ice cream.
“Every time you enjoy a scoop of Ben & Jerry’s, you’re showing us how much you care.
“We love you too and Free Cone Day is our favourite way to show it!”
To get your hands on a free cone, all you need to do is rock up to a participating store from 12pm, and ask for a free ice cream.
No code or voucher is needed, and there is not limit to the amount of cones that will be given out throughout the day.
Customers are entitled to one scoop per cone, and can choose any of the brand’s popular flavours, such as Cookie Dough, Phish Food, or Chocolate Fudge Brownie.
There may be long queues, so prepare to wait patiently in line for your free ice cream.
Ben & Jerry’s have also encouraged customers to “get back in line as many times as you like”, to nab a second, or even third ice cream.
