TWO women who tragically died in a horror smash between two cars have been pictured – after a teenager was arrested.

Amie Pearson, 26, and Chelsea Carlisle, 29, were sadly killed in the crash – which also left a nine-year-old boy with life-changing injuries.

Derbyshire Police said: “The collision, involving a Vauxhall Meriva and a Suzuki Alto, occurred in Common Lane at around 6.20am on November 27.

“The driver and passenger of the Suzuki were pronounced dead at the scene.

“They have now been named as Amie Pearson, 26, who was the driver, and Chelsea Carlisle, 29, who was the passenger.

“Their families are aware and our thoughts remain with them.

“A nine-year-old boy who was also in the Suzuki suffered serious life changing injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains.”
